The round before the Finals. The basketball season is slowly coming to an end as there is only four teams left. In the East the Miami Heat are taking on the Indiana Pacers. Game 1 finished in an overtime victory for the Miama Heat as they defeated the Pacers 103-102. Game 2 is Friday, May 24th in Miami Florida. In the Western Conference the match up is between the San Antonio Spurs and The Memphis Grizzlies. The Spurs lead the series 2 games to 0 games. Game 3 will be held in Memphis on sunday night.

The nba playoffs are still going as they are getting close to the end of the second round. With 4 games played in each series, there has been some shockers. The Miami Heat are taking on The Chicago Bulls. This was a good series for the first two games as each team won one game, in the next two games the Heat have been DOMANATING and the Bulls have not been able to keep up. The next east series is between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers. This series has only played 3 games and the Pacers lead the series 2-1. In the west the first series being played is between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Mempis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies lead the series 3-1 after for games in the best of 7 series. Last but not least the San Antonio Spurs are taking on the Golden State Warriors. This series has been super exciting as it is all knotted up at 2 games a piece. Series is a best of 7 series. I decided to keep updating you guys on the second round of the NBA playoffs. So far each series has played two games. The First series in the east is being played between the number 1 seeded Heat and the number 5 seeded Bulls. The Bulls suprisingly took game one from the Great "Big 3" of miami. The Heat would then even the series in game two, by defeating the bulls by 31 points. The last Series in the East is being played between the number 2 seeded Knicks and the 3 seeded Pacers. The Pacers also suprised the world by taking game one in the series, but that wouldnt get the Knicks down as they cruse to a 15 point win in game 2. In the West, The number 1 seed Thunder take on the number 5 seed Grizzlies. The series is all tied up 1-1. The last series in the West is between number 2 seeded Spurs and number 6 seeded Warriors.  This has by far been the the best series, as both games have been close as the teams have both won 1 game as the series is tied, 1-1.

      

Last week the NBA playoffs were very entertaining. It is now the second round of the playoffs, but last week it was still the first round. In the first round of the east playoffs we had the Heat playing the Bucks which the Heat won the Series 4-0. The next series was between The Pacers and The Hawks. This series went 6 games as the Pacers defeated the Hawks 4-2 in the series. The next two teams were the Bulls and the Nets. This series went all 7 games as the Bulls win  the series 4-3. The last series of the first round in the East were the Knicks and the Celtics. This series went 6 games as well, with the Knicks beating the Celtics 4-2 in the series. The Western conference was just as entertaining as the East. Series one was between the Thunder and the Rockets. The Thunder Defeated the rockets in game 6 to take the series 4-2. The Lakers played the Spurs and the Spurs took took the series 4-0. The best series played was between The Nuggets and The Warriors. This series was very close but the Warriors pulled it out to take 4 games to 2 from the Nuggets. The last series was between the Clippers and The Grizzlies. This series was also very exciting. However, the Clippers got defeated by the Grizzlies in 6 games. The Series final was 4-2 in favor of the Grizzlies.

Yesterday was the NFL draft first round and 2 players from utah got drafted first round, Star played at the university of utah and got drafted the fourteenth overrall to the panthers. Ansah was drafted to the lions, and was the fifth overrall pick.
